How to Stay Calm & Keep Going

PN School Counselor Jackie Miller was teaching 4th-grade students about frustration tolerance this week.

"We were learning how to stay calm and keep going when challenges arise. To do this we use positive self-talk and calm down techniques (like deep breathing). Then, when we make the right choice, good things happen such as getting better grades, mastering a new task, and keeping friendships."
